Whats the command prompt from the A:/ I have windows 98 on a hard disk I
have just copied the whole disk onto the hard drive and attached as we have
no cdrom support, its attached and I have the A: but cant switch over to
that drive to be able to do setup.exe
forgotten the prompt to look at the hard drives,

c: and press enter
cd win98 and press enter
setup and press enter.
This assumes that you copied it to the C hard drive and the Win98
folder is on the root of the C hard drive.

Also
c: and press enter
and dir/p will show the files and folder on the C drive using any
keyboard key to move the list down

If you have no CDRom then you'll be doing fuck all with any operating system
thats on a CD. But if you done as you say, and copied win98 from a floppy to
the harddrive, then fuck me running, try this.

c:\ <press enter>

dir <press enter>

cd c:\win98 <press enter>

fuck off up outa here <press enter>

yeh thought as much no joy on any of the C: D: E: F: etc must have a
problem, thanks for the help to those whp where polite enough to answer with
something of use.
Why do others fell that they need to respond?
