(too old to reply)

Saved 35 Meg PST file under W2K, NTFS & Office 2000 to the server.
Installed Win me, FAT & Office 2000
Open PST file from within Outlook, as I always do.
The file is read with no error but no messages appear.

SCANPST says "No error detected"

Any suggestion ?

TIA

This question would probably be best posted in microsoft.public.outlook -
and it isn't clear from your post whether you moved it back to your
computer, but note that MS doesn't support/recommend accessing PST files
from across a network connection of any kind, as you can experience data
corruption (and performance issues).

That said - are you sure you saved the correct PST file? Do you see
*anything* in the PST file? Did you create it with export, or just move the
PST file you were using with Outlook closed at the time?

Lanwench,

1. PST was saved through simple moving (upload) to server.
2. Outlook was not running at the time.
I did that several times before and never failed.
Though I was using it with the same Win OS, it souldn't make a
difference.
Other files UL then DL from the same batch are fine !!!
3. The PST file is on my PC, working locally.
4. I see absolutely nothing when I open it.

Thanks

Hmmm - check your view settings - also right-click on the PST file itself in
the folder list (the top-level folder), go to properties, folder size. See
what it thinks is in there. Don't recall your original post details, but did
you try scanpst.exe ?

- Scanpst.exe says "No errors"
- Folder Properties 34.8 Meg in the top-level folder type pst, that's all
- Folder Properties 0 inside Outlook (after File-Open Personal folder PST )
- Tried "import" from file, the same, NO results

Original post details below

Thanks
